CON PARTY is destined for a humiliating defeat in 2014. Given this, if some people think that CON party can get a rebirth by way of supporting a 3rd front in May 2014, they are only refusing to read the numbers.

If CON Party gets 90 seats, then they need some 180 MPS from other parties to form 3rd front.

Where do you find these 180 MPs in non CON, non NDA parties when:

Mamata and CPM will not be part of same front.

Maya and Mulayam will not be part of same front

AIADMK and DMK wont be part of same front

YSR Congress and TDP will not be part of same front.

JDU and RJD will not be part of same front.

80% of the 3rd front MPs will be from the parties mentioned above, so 3rd front is a pipedream. Remember that in 1996 - last time when we had 3rd front, we did not have a YSR Congress or Trinamool Congress and JDU and Maya were very much small and insignificant parties unlike today.

Back in college days, if someone asked us how we did in an exam and we had done badly, we replied "Phut gayi, yaar."

But if we did really, really badly, we replied "Phut ke haath mein aa gayi, yaar."

In 2014, Congress ki tho phut ke haath mein aa jaayegi.
