What is really sad is, that leaders feel the young are interested in the I. Q. of people like Mr. Tharoor. There isn't any other person who is a minister, of the union or state, who would seem to be interesting for his I. Q., because he looks so nice, and writes such nice books, and is one of the most important people who have been associated with the U. N. I feel, people like Mr. Tharoor are very agreeable in any position in govt., and it takes an imagination, of a fair I. Q., to feel that Mr. Tharoor is discussing corruption, when one sees him discussing any matter with anyone, through a glass door. I like very much, Mr. Khurshid being foreign minister. The only issue was when earlier, one saw the Union Law Minister, address his constituency, because of certain circumstances, rather than the nation. It seemed, that the nation saw him address his constituency, and felt that he was addressing them, and Salman Khurshid never addresses any person in New Delhi, like that. The last time the people found the govt. good, and when the opposition made the govt. feel that parliament was not functioning, the N. D. A., introduced the 'India Shining' campaign, and people thought the govt. was saying, that everything was as the people wanted, and nothing more could be done. The rapport with the people, has nothing to do with the opposing political faction, and The Congress might just loose the next election, because people feel that the govt. is good, and they can do no better. I really liked Mr. Vajpayee's govt., and it is not bad, that the U. P. A. came to power, because of the first part of the sentence. I felt sure, that the N. D. A. were going to win.

"CABINET RESHUFFLE : KHODA PAHAAR NIKLA CHOOHA".The cabinet re-shuffle expected months back turned out to be a damp squib. It has exposed the Congress's hypocrisy by retaining / promoting the allegedly corrupt ministers like Salman Khurshid and Sriprakash Jaiswal.
The ubiquitous visibility of loud mouth Manish Tewari, one hopes, would be substantially reduced. He had become too much of an irritant to the common man's sensibility.Good riddance.
Rahul Gandhi has not developed enough confidence (Read as maturity)to join the Cabinet. He preferred to continue as the Big boss in the Congress. As a minister, his superficial familiarity with the nuances of politics, would have been further exposed during Parliamentary debates.
Whatever may be the compulsions of realpolitik in shaping the Cabinet,it is for sure that the country is slowly inching towards mid-tern poll, possibly after budget session next year.

Salman Khurshid is MoE (wonder who are Larry and Joe). Incidentally, he is the son of a former Foreign Minister. I wonder if there are any other instances of father and son holding this important portfolio.

Moily is now MOil, how appropriate.

How much was paid to channels like NDTV to continuously focus on Rahul Gandhi talking to an attentive vice-president? Not for nothing these channels are calling it Rahul Gandhi's cabinet.
