10. Let's support Kashmiri Militants because they are right to killing and injuring innocent people for benefit of their state and community...

11. Let's throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra, why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis of the world.

12. Let's stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign Movies and dramas. James Bond should speak

13. We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states

14. We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside

15. We should STOP using local trains... Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and the railway minister is a Bihari

16. Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra, then they will become true Marathis

"Because of the freedom fighters and national leaders in India like M Thevar India is in a bad state. In one broad sweep, you have lumped, Subhash Chandra Bose and even VO Chidambaram Pillai as the cause of India's present malaise. No my friend, it is because of bad governance and deep rooted corruption that India is in a bad state. I spent some yrs in TN and then in Mumbai. In Mumbai where I lived , there was a MP from Congress called Sunil Dutt. He was an actor. Very sincere in his approach, always ready to serve. If all MP's and MLA's and govt officials show his sincerity for doing public service and not be corrupt, then India will be a better place. I do not support any party, but I admire people like late Sunil Dutt. The affirmative action,reservation is to make upward mobility of SC/ST's to go up the ladder , which is being done in a mammoth scale in TN and India just like the neck pulling massive garlands for a political leader in TN. Even with this easy to educate and easy to jobs scheme, there is cribbing, then something is wrong with thinking. Another reason for India's malaise is the massive decline of incomes in agricultural sector. Most of the farm labor have migrated to cities and are living in slums in cities. In my Mumbai experience, I have met slum dwellers of Dharavi , who are from Southern Tamil Nadu and who could not live on farm income and left their traditional farming jobs and come to eke out a living in Mumbai. They live in slums and they are happy to send some money back to their village, but they live much more unhealthier life in the slums than their village. But the excess income , more than they earn in agriculture labor is what has attracted them to Mumbai. 60 % of Indias population is in agri sector. If this sector is not governed well , you are in for more chaos with climate change as an additional confirmed variable to add woes of mismanagement and corporatization of agriculture. gajanan Sydney, Australia

Vijayanagar empire for andhraites, Wodeyar-Mysore kingdom for kannadigas, Travancor for keralites were there to unify these people and maintain their welfare. Since british unified many small regions for their selfish administrative reasons, a madras state was born in which tamils became majority,by chance and fortunately (unfortunately for people like you). Then when the merit list is announced with reservations for SC/ST counted, then if selected for a job , the option should be given to candidate to choose the city/village of their choice for employment. Then only there will be fair deal. Just going to write exams from a remote place in India to a major city would lead to concentration distraction. We should not send our kids to schools, unless we can fix the exams. Then we should teach them how to handle a katta, so they can go terrorize citizens by holding bus passengers hostage. 2. We should make Hindi as an official language, so people from the Hindi belt have a natural advantage at capturing central government jobs. 3. We should rig our elections so bad, that the center can’t conceive an election in our state unless they send the Army. 4. Bollywood stars should be given farmer status in UP, so they can buy prime farming land in rest of India. 5. Exams for government transportation jobs should be advertised in North India in only select languages so not everyone has an equal opportunity at getting the jobs. 6. We should convince the US Department of Labor to stop the labor certification process before giving H1B visa and Green Cards for Indian nationals. 7. We should send our politicians to celebrate Chaath Pooja in other states so they can make statements like “UP tho hamaari hain, ab Maharashtra ki Bari hain” and thus bring the entire country to the lowest common denominator. 8. We should start direct train services to cities and states that are trying to develop and create jobs, because we can’t do the same in our home state. As far as trains that only run within the states are concerned, we should burn them every time some one points that we need to take the responsibility of developing our state. 9. 40% or so of the taxes collected from Maharashtra should be used to build the Metro in New Delhi and as fodder for scams so we can live as parasites while farmers in Maharashtra commit suicide. 10. Let us create more Kashmir’s, Punjabs and North Easts by letting more people know that they have no stake in the future of the country. 11. Let us create a socio-economic environment where no MNC would ever want to come to our state and if they dare to, we’ll create enough un-rest that they’ll just pack their bags and go back to the lousy places they came from in the first place. 12. Let us also force public sector banks and companies to use Hindi so that more job opportunities are created for people from the Hindi belt. When that is done, let us force it on private and multi-national companies as well so all Hindi speaking people move around in India with a righteous sense of entitlement. 13. We apparently grow a lot of rice. So, we should ask the government to fix the price exorbitantly high, so that our farmers can make a lot of money, while the rest of the country goes to the dogs (i.e. us anyways). 14. We should not purchase the TATA Nano, because it is designed by Maharashtrians. 15. We should build a railway track from my home town to the town of my in-laws, even if my family is the only one to use it. 16. It seems then it is the tactics of "eye-for-eye" (or more than that ?). This is simply a cheap shot that has the potential of backfiring if it goes to implementation in reality. Some food for thought in the forum - I was in Calcutta some years ago when the news flashed that the BJP Minister Nitish Kumar had decided to move the headquarters of Eastern Railways to Bihar from Calcutta. Being born in Calcutta, I was staggered to comprehend how such a vital decision could be taken by Delhi. Ever since Indian Railways came into existence, its Eastern Headquarters was always in Calcutta. There was some local protest against the move mildly which died down. I asked a friend of mine - a highly placed official - the reason for this strange development. He informed that it does not take much intelligence to understand that from then on most of the recruitment for railways at some levels will be exclusively for Biharis and their likes. Later on - after two years ? - I ran into an Indian gentleman visiting Sydney. I had then read in the Indian press that Biharis were being beaten up in Assam. When I inquired to him about those events, he explained that people living in Assam had applied in response to some recruitment drive in the Indian Railways. But the local Assamese had found out that only the Biharis living in Assam were called up for the interviews, and hence all the hell had broken loose! Another observation must not be missed in this context - I was listening to a live interview arranged by Rediff, about a year ago in the internet, with an Indian MP from Arunachal Pradesh (AP) - a Mr Rijju ? - on the Chinese menace in AP. Out of the blue came one Mr Tiwari (?) from Bihar (or UP) and asked the MP : "Is Hindi spoken in AP?" - as if speaking Hindi is a criterion for everything in India. I was dumbfounded ! Obviously, the thuggery by Raj and his goons in Bombay are not that simple to explain as some in the forum are trying to project. There are two sides of the matter, the hidden one needs to be scrutinized in depth before suggesting an eye-for-eye retaliation as this anonymous letter-writer is propagating. It seems then it is the tactics of "eye-for-eye" (or more than that ?). This is simply a cheap shot that has the potential of backfiring if it goes to implementation in reality. Some food for thought in the forum - I was in Calcutta some years ago when the news flashed that the BJP Minister Nitish Kumar had decided to move the headquarters of Eastern Railways to Bihar from Calcutta. Being born in Calcutta, I was staggered to comprehend how such a vital decision could be taken by Delhi. Ever since Indian Railways came into existence, its Eastern Headquarters was always in Calcutta. There was some local protest against the move mildly which died down. I asked a friend of mine - a highly placed official - the reason for this strange development. He informed that it does not take much intelligence to understand that from then on most of the recruitment for railways at some levels will be exclusively for Biharis and their likes. Later on - after two years ? - I ran into an Indian gentleman visiting Sydney. I had then read in the Indian press that Biharis were being beaten up in Assam. When I inquired to him about those events, he explained that people living in Assam had applied in response to some recruitment drive in the Indian Railways. But the local Assamese had found out that only the Biharis living in Assam were called up for the interviews, and hence all the hell had broken loose! Another observation must not be missed in this context - I was listening to a live interview arranged by Rediff, about a year ago in the internet, with an Indian MP from Arunachal Pradesh (AP) - a Mr Rijju ? - on the Chinese menace in AP. Out of the blue came one Mr Tiwari (?) from Bihar (or UP) and asked the MP : "Is Hindi spoken in AP?" - as if speaking Hindi is a criterion for everything in India. I was dumbfounded ! Obviously, the thuggery by Raj and his goons in Bombay are not that simple to explain as some in the forum are trying to project. There are two sides of the matter, the hidden one needs to be scrutinized in depth before suggesting an eye-for-eye retaliation as this anonymous letter-writer is propagating. We should make Hindi as an official language, so people from the Hindi belt have a natural advantage at capturing central government jobs. 3. We should rig our elections so bad, that the center can’t conceive an election in our state unless they send the Army. 4. Bollywood stars should be given farmer status in UP, so they can buy prime farming land in rest of India. 5. Exams for government transportation jobs should be advertised in North India in only select languages so not everyone has an equal opportunity at getting the jobs. 6. We should convince the US Department of Labor to stop the labor certification process before giving H1B visa and Green Cards for Indian nationals. 7. We should start direct train services to cities and states that are trying to develop and create jobs, because we can’t do the same in our home state. As far as trains that only run within the states are concerned, we should burn them every time some one points that we need to take the responsibility of developing our state. 9. 40% or so of the taxes collected from Maharashtra should be used to build the Metro in New Delhi and as fodder for scams so we can live as parasites while farmers in Maharashtra commit suicide. 10. Let us create more Kashmir’s, Punjabs and North Easts by letting more people know that they have no stake in the future of the country. 11. Let us create a socio-economic environment where no MNC would ever want to come to our state and if they dare to, we’ll create enough un-rest that they’ll just pack their bags and go back to the lousy places they came from in the first place. 12. Let us also force public sector banks and companies to use Hindi so that more job opportunities are created for people from the Hindi belt. When that is done, let us force it on private and multi-national companies as well so all Hindi speaking people move around in India with a righteous sense of entitlement. 13. We apparently grow a lot of rice. So, we should ask the government to fix the price exorbitantly high, so that our farmers can make a lot of money, while the rest of the country goes to the dogs (i.e. us anyways). 14. We should not purchase the TATA Nano, because it is designed by Maharashtrians. 15. We should build a railway track from my home town to the town of my in-laws, even if my family is the only one to use it. 16. Then when the merit list is announced with reservations for SC/ST counted, then if selected for a job , the option should be given to candidate to choose the city/village of their choice for employment. Then only there will be fair deal. Just going to write exams from a remote place in India to a major city would lead to concentration distraction. Tamils lost their continuous history by 13th century. Vijayanagar empire for andhraites, Wodeyar-Mysore kingdom for kannadigas, Travancor for keralites were there to unify these people and maintain their welfare. Since british unified many small regions for their selfish administrative reasons, a madras state was born in which tamils became majority,by chance and fortunately (unfortunately for people like you). There started the identity consciousness.Muthuramalinga Thevar is a caste leader and he strongly advocated against the upward mobility of lower caste people. "Because of the freedom fighters and national leaders in India like M Thevar India is in a bad state. In one broad sweep, you have lumped, Subhash Chandra Bose and even VO Chidambaram Pillai as the cause of India's present malaise. No my friend, it is because of bad governance and deep rooted corruption that India is in a bad state. I spent some yrs in TN and then in Mumbai. In Mumbai where I lived , there was a MP from Congress called Sunil Dutt. He was an actor. Very sincere in his approach, always ready to serve. If all MP's and MLA's and govt officials show his sincerity for doing public service and not be corrupt, then India will be a better place. I do not support any party, but I admire people like late Sunil Dutt. The affirmative action,reservation is to make upward mobility of SC/ST's to go up the ladder , which is being done in a mammoth scale in TN and India just like the neck pulling massive garlands for a political leader in TN. Even with this easy to educate and easy to jobs scheme, there is cribbing, then something is wrong with thinking. Another reason for India's malaise is the massive decline of incomes in agricultural sector. Most of the farm labor have migrated to cities and are living in slums in cities. In my Mumbai experience, I have met slum dwellers of Dharavi , who are from Southern Tamil Nadu and who could not live on farm income and left their traditional farming jobs and come to eke out a living in Mumbai. They live in slums and they are happy to send some money back to their village, but they live much more unhealthier life in the slums than their village. But the excess income , more than they earn in agriculture labor is what has attracted them to Mumbai. 60 % of Indias population is in agri sector. If this sector is not governed well , you are in for more chaos with climate change as an additional confirmed variable to add woes of mismanagement and corporatization of agriculture. gajanan Sydney, Australia
