Methodology
The Centre for Forecasting and Research (C fore)
conducted the survey in six metros and Chandigarh.
Teachers (632 in all) in each city were asked to evaluate on a 10 point of scale the
schools they were familiar with on a 10-point scale under 7 parameters -- competence of
faculty, attention to studies, individual attention to students, sports, extra-curricular
activities, teaching moral & social values and infrastructure & facilities. Top 15
schools in each city were ranked based on the average aggregate score.
