on why he's quitting CNN
Why did you to quit CNN?
I simply felt I wanted to explore some other interests this job has developed for me like writing' documentary making' music and even teaching.
But isn't going solo risky?
This decision came more out of "life" timing than career. My goal is to use the skills I've developed to do more diverse work.
What will you focus on now?
I'll continue to keep Atlanta as my base. I'll be focusing on making long-term documentaries' special events and writing.
Will you stick to television?
I will expand beyond television.
Why was Q&A such a success?
Because it was interactive.
Are you keeping your options open with CNN?
Definitely.
Why are you still a bachelor?
No comments.
How has CNN helped you?
It's given me a chance to do things I could've never done anywhere else.
And the interview format?
I like doing interviews and I'll continue with them. I also like the idea of travelling and looking at people.
Are you joining Bharat Bala?
I hope to work with Bala and Kanika. I respect their work.
